Witch Girl

Going along with my modern day monsters series, here is a witch girl! Although very confident in herself, that can’t be said for how she feels about her newfound magical powers. Recently brought into the realm of magic, she is working hard to learn all she can and be the best witch she can be. However its going to take a while; potion making, spell casting, and broom riding don’t come naturally for her….but she’s still trying! She also has a thing for the color purple.

Environment a Day: Day 4
I wasn’t really satisfied with how my Potion/Fortune/Astrology tower shop turned out yesterday so I thought I would revise it a bit for today’s post. I’m soooo much more happy with this version! I added some ivy to the building to make it more magical and mysterious looking. I also thought it’d be a really cool and quirky touch if the roof of the building was stained with the colors of the potion clouds that come out of the chimney!

Environment a Day: Day 3
This is a quick paint of the exterior of the potion/fortune shop of a middled aged witch. Her husband has an astrology observatory in a tower at the top of the shop which he uses to track the stars and planets to make star charts for his wife’s customers. You can tell when the witch is mixing her potions because colored smoke plumes from out of the chimney, not so great for passersby because the smoke ends up giving them temporary symptoms of whatever potion she is mixing.
