For my latest visual development project I chose to take the classic comic strip story “Little Nemo in Slumberland”, written by Winsor McCay, and place it in India. Nemo is based in modern day India and taken to the magical world of Slumberland which is styled in the vein of the Arabian Nights. I chose to center on character development and costume design for this project.

Adventure Is Out There!

I’m all moved into my condo in Pasadena now! My roommates are very nice and we have the placed all fixed up so its feeling very nice and homey now. I’ve gotten to know the area a little better, so things are starting to feel more exciting and less scary now. School starts in a couple of weeks and I’m so excited!!

Here is my new home work space! :D

Today is the Day!

I always wished for adventure in the great wide somewhere…I just never thought it would actually happen, or that it would happen so soon. This is going to be the biggest adventure of my life, and I’m going to work incredibly hard to make all those crazy dreams that I have come true. I hope you’ll keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I make a quick transition to life in California and that everything falls into place :) I’ll make updates on my blog of all the new school work I’ll be doing at Art Center as well as all the cool and crazy stuff that happens! Wish me luck!!

Vampire Boy

Vampire Boy. Growing up living in his father’s shadow, who happens to be Dracula, has never been the easiest for him. He is now of the age where all young vampires must make their first bite, but being socially awkward, especially around girls, he has put it off for as long as possible. Entrancing ladies and being the dark casanova his father was, never really appealed to him. He would much rather be taking care of his pet bats or working on his novel.
